VIVERSE, the open and secure metaverse from HTC VIVE, welcomes the arrival of BIRDIE WING: Golf Girls' Story, the original anime series produced in our collaboration with Bandai Namco Pictures (BNP).
You can now take a free 3D tour of original BIRDIE WING artworks exclusively in VIVERSE by entering the new BIRDIE WING Metaverse Museum, a virtual world inspired by the show. Simply join from your preferred web browser after creating an avatar with your VIVERSE account or proceeding as a guest with one of our ready-made avatars.
VIVERSE is also pleased to announce that it is bringing BIRDIE WING: Golf Girls' Story to anime lovers and golf enthusiasts on other platforms, with a video game for Nintendo Switch and virtual experience for VR coming soon!

BIRDIE WING: Golf Girls' Story is the world's first anime centered around women's golf. It tells the story of Eve, a girl making a living off of playing underground golf, and Aoi Amawashi, a girl from a wealthy family with exquisite golfing skills. One day, these two talented players from different backgrounds meet and become intrigued by each other. Together, the young golf prodigies shake up the world of women's golf!
Compared to other popular sports, golf was a more challenging choice of theme for an anime production. The rugged and varied terrain of golf courses combined with the complex swinging motion of putters and the overall slow pace of golf games all make this sport difficult for many people to relate to. Yet BIRDIE WING: Golf Girls' Story has managed to win the hearts of viewers worldwide with its exhilarating story, fine art style, and lovable protagonists, whose empathetic friendship grows over the course of the series.
